copssupportgunrights.com/plea-connectictuts-police-officers/As you are probably aware, CT passed an "assault weapon" ban in 2013. It was enacted on the first of this year, And the majority of gun owners did not register their guns, which was required by that ban. So now CT had stated if you have an unregistered "assault weapon" and you don't smash it, take it out of state, or turn it in we will come and confiscate it. Well, it turns out people won't register guns I'd they don't want to, So there are thousands (possibly hundreds of thousands) of "felons" in CT. The state law enforcement agencies in CT are gearing up for a war now, As they prepare to confiscate guns of those who tried to register to late for the deadline. And they are going to look at background check records to see if they can find who else had unregistered guns considered "assault weapons". First off, like it says in the article, Are LEOs willing to violate their oaths? Are they willing to risk their life to enforce this law? Are they willing to kill innocent Americans because of this law? If they answer yes, And I doubt any honestly would, Then they can try it. My prediction is that it will be an event you've never seen the likes of in American, or world, history. And if they go forward with this, It's not going to be nice over there. Pray for the people of CT, that they have the strength to do what is right. They shouldn't have let it come to this. But it had. And are they willing to stand for a just cause? Only time will tell.

It will be interesting to watch. I hope that the people of Connecticut can find a way to keep their second amendment rights without any trouble.
This is sort of a test case. The federal government will watch to see how this plays out. They would like to know if it is achievable on the federal level.
You guys know that it is not achievable, but the government is willing to find out.
I'm so glad that this isn't going on in many states.....
