Here is a picture of Mosquito Lake where I spend quite a bit of time fishing and nature snooping.

Looks like a great place to visit. Is that a state park? Sid Yes it is a state park. It is a very beautiful lake. It is also a shallow lake. I have waded out a 150-200 yards or more at one place when fishing for Walleye.

It has walleye? Those are mighty tasty. Have they stocked any trout?

No trout. Walleye, crappies, bluegill, bass, catfish, northern pike. My friend called me the other day and told me this true fish story. Him and his son were fishing there at Mosquito Lake when something grabbed his line and took off with it. It pulled the rod and all right in the water!!! Afterwards he went up to his car to get another rod and was telling somebody about it. I am not sure but I think they had a boat. He went back to fishing and about 45 minutes later these same people showed up and they had his fishing outfit, rod and reel, and the fish was still on the line. They said they picked it up about 150 yards from where it went in the water. They must have seen his bobber floating and grabbed it. It had a 25 inch catfish on. So he got his rod, reel and the fish back. So hows that for a fishing story?

That is amazing. But I wouldn't doubt it. Fish are very strong. I don't know how many fish just bite, then calm down, and right before you have them in the boat just go crazy. Happens to me

We decided to go for a walk about 7:00 PM yesterday and as usual I took my camera. Rabbits, rabbits, and more rabbits. We saw lots of rabbits. Little ones and big ones and I took a few pictures. Here is one of a big rabbit. He didn't stick around long. Then I saw this frog and had to photograph him. Isn't he handsome? We were walking along a reservoir and power plant. It is a large area with many acres fenced in. We saw this wild turkey. He must have flown in there and now he saw us and wanted out. I took his picture but he didn't stay long. I think he was a bit camera shy. Then last of all we say this little guy.

Those are good pictures Rohn. It's hard to get a picture of a turkey.

Those are excellent pictures. They took the bald eagle off the endangered species list in ohio, they are threatened.

Wow a bald eagle! Those are rare to see. I have only seen three that I can remember and they were on a sign along the highway. You take some great pictures Rohn.
