I was trying to figure out how to water my family's garden easier. I had an injured leg a while back, so it is kinda hard to keep toting a 3 gallon watering can back and forth 5 times. Our garden is 63' x 30'. Anyone have any suggestions? It is about a 100 yards from our water spout.

Get a couple of long hoses and put them together. That is what I do.

Yea that is what I planned but I didn't know if I could figure an easier way. It is just kind of a hassle to keep putting together our old hoses and taking them back apart. Dad picked up a sprinkler so I will see if that works. I watered our corn today and before I had the three rows done it was almost dry again! It is awful! If it was just potatoes, radishes, spinach tomatoes and peppers then I could water with a can!

Matt sprinkler waste way too much water. A Drip Irrigation tubing is the way to go when watering a garden. You can get 500 ft at Lowe's for around $40. With a sprinkler you water places you don't need or want to water. Makes the grass between rows grow too fast.

Oh, I didn't figure on that one... Yea I wanted to look into that but wasn't sure if the stuff from Lowe's was crap. Some stuff you get there is good... some is not.

That drip irrigation that Sid suggested is a good idea. He is right about wasting water with a sprinkler.
