Any of you guys have your garden planted yet?
This year I'm late. We normally havetour garden plowed by now at least, but we still haven't this year...
I was thinking doing some more of the Roma tomatoes... those yielded really well last year.
Also, anyone have any experience with "Stowells evergreen corn"?
I have heard it's a good variety, but was wondering if you guys had experience with it.

My garden is a bit late this year also. I have to wait for it to dry up here in order to be able to do the tilling. We have quite a few tomatoes growing in the green house - Romas, Large Red Cherry, some bigger ones that I forget the name of right now, eggplant (first for us this year) Broccoli, cauliflower. I never grew Stowells evergreen corn, Matt. Last year we grew "Candy Corn" and liked it very well. We hope to plant twice as much corn this year as last year.

Well it has been at least 20 years since we have had a garden. I was working a job 10 and 12 hours a day plus driving 150 miles round trip to get there and quit making a garden. We decided we need to try again so I made a raised bed garden using railroad ties. Should last longer than I will be able to garden. I lined the ties with landscape cloth to keep the soil from getting any bad stuff that might be in the ties and filled with top soil. It is about 8' X 16'. This picture is before we planted anything.
Well the picture is not showing! Will try again.

Looks good Sid. You will be able to put a lot of plants in there. I would like to see a picture after you are done planting.

We don't have ours planted yet! We've been really busy lately, so hopefully we'll get out to do it soon. Sid, the garden looks great! Raised bed gardens are really easy to take care of. We've had two of them for quite a few years and they're working very well.

Rohn there is not much to see yet. Plants look good and getting some of the seeds to come up like onions, beans squash and a couple of cukes. Took this late so my neighbors tree is starting to shade one end.
My wife's flowers are looking good. Here are some pics.

Very nice Sid!
I am hoping to try the Indian method of gardening... Corn in hills of five, brands planned in circle around it, and squash (butternut and pumpkin).

Sid, your garden looks like it is going to be nice. We haven't been able to get into mine yet because of the wet weather. Hope to start tilling tis week but the weather report is not very favorable. I bought almost 2 lbs. of corn to plant. I hope it does a good a last years corn did.
I really like all those pictures. The flowers are beautiful.
