That is a blatant abuse of power. I have seen enough of it to know it has no place in this country. I believe that even more should be done than firing. I believe they should all face criminal offenses. The man has the easiest lawsuit in the world also. They didn't tell him why he was being held. They did not allow for the right that an "...accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial,... and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation...". And they did not have a warrant as has been required by vehicle searches in the majority of cases. He could bring them down, and he has every right (And duty) to do so.

This is disgusting. I can't believe that the police would search his car for hours just because they thought he had a gun.
I hope he does sue them.
