This is crazy. Look at section 11 #15. It bans any firearm that has a "barrel shroud". Their definition of barrel shroud is, a device "that is attached to, or partially or completely encircles, the barrel of a firearm so that the shroud protects the user from the heat generated by the barrel." I can think of a-lot of guns that fall into that category. (Here's some sarcasm) And we can all obviously see why a firearm with a barrel shroud is so dangerous. Justin

There is no such thing in my opinion as an "assault weapon". Any gun you have can be used to commit a crime just like a knife or a baseball bat or a rock or a hammer or a club etc. It is only another term used by the left that has gotten some good people off track. No guns should ever be banned from law abiding people.

The first person to call a weapon an "assault rifle" was Adolf Hitler. He wanted an impressive name so he called it the Sturmgewehr '44, Sturm meaning (Storm) and Gewehr meaning (Rifle). It is often considered by many to be the first "assault rifle".
I don't think the terminology used by the left is right, the only "assault rifle" is a rifle that was used in an assault.

The liberals give things scary or offensive names to make people think they're bad.
