Did any of yo guys see the where Obama blamed the "Lobbyists, bloggers, and talking heads"? SO he expects us to believe the reason for the government shutdown is "Bloggers" (Other than the republicans and bush.)? We know the reason for the government shutdown. It is because he wouldn't allow congress to have financial power, which they are given in the constitution, to fund or not fund programs so that the government would be actually paying our debt, instead of just taking out another loan. So this time, before he blamed the republicans, before he blamed his predecessor, he blamed Lobbyists.
Yea right. And *then* he blamed the republicans to leave on an "good" note, in his usual way. I only wish the all the people who interviewed him had the guts to ask him something like "So where did you go wrong?" - or - "Why is it you never let congress investigate Eric Holder after 'Fast and Furious'?". If they would just do it, not just ask how cool it is to be president, then he would conform to the constitution.
If a man gains power, he will abuse his power 90 percent of the time.
So that is why we have a system that is toxic to dictators. Because he would have to go through the checks on his power in government, most of which have been ignored by this president, and then if he got past those there is and army of citizens ready to stop him. Henceforth that is why we have the Bill of Rights, the second amendment being the Bill of Rights' ultimate protector.
That is why the whole system scares me. They have been compiling records of guns sold since 1968 when they passed the GCA. If they ever wanted to get rid of them, all they have to do is retrieve the records from the Federal Firearms Licencees (FFLs). So I believe we should repeal the gun control act (GCA) of 1968, the senate bill 922r of 1986, and the national firearms act of 1934. If we got rid of them altogether, if we could make all gun control illegal, then we could be the free country we once were forever, with no possibility of a dicatorship, no possibility of slavery or ever being controlled by a foreign power.
If we fix of the system we have now, then we would be safe forever.
