Did you know that Ohio has a 30 round magazine limit? I just found out tonight. I had never heard this before, but in the ohio revised code section 2923.11(E) states that
"'Automatic firearm' means any firearm designed or specially adapted to fire a succession of cartridges with a single function of the trigger. 'Automatic firearm' also means any semi-automatic firearm designed or specially adapted to fire more than thirty-one cartridges without reloading, other than a firearm chambering only .22 caliber short, long, or long-rifle cartridges."
I was never aware we lived in the "people's republic of Ohio". I was considering buying a certain type of gun (a C93), but it has a 40 (+1) capacity. I can not believe this, have you guys ever heard of this? Does your area have a magazine limit?

I did read that not to long ago, but I can't remember where. We need to get this law changed along with some other OH gun laws.

Yes we need to change this law, and the ban on restaurant conceal carry.
