Yesterday I went down to my local gun shop and decided to get some stuff for the Bushmaster. I got a XTS Industries Quad Rail, and a Blackhawk forward grip. Here it is before I tore into it. And here is with the Quad installed. Here is the final product I plan on putting a red dot and possibly a flashlight or laser on also. There is lots you can do with an AR-15, I'm really glad I got the Carbon 15 instead of a typical aluminum Upper/Lower. That Quad really adds a-lot of weight.

I am enjoying it so far. (I don't see how I couldn't) I going to shoot it some tomorrow afternoon, and hopefully I can take some pictures for you. I would like the gun to be able to hit a 12 gauge shell at 50 yards. I don't know if I can do that, but we'll see.

Looking forward to your report. Hey Rohn I'm not going to be able to do that report tonight, something important came up. I'll do it tomorrow though. Sorry about that. I don't know why I always do stuff like that.

Ok I finally got out to shoot the AR. Here are some pictures. And here is a P.O.V. shot. For the first round I took five shots at the target, to get a feel for where I was hitting. I only hit on target once that round. (I hit where I am pointing.) The round above where I am pointing was my second hit on target, and the one on the bottom right was third. After I realized I was hitting to the right, I held to the left some and shot. I held over about four inches. I hit right under the bullseye. So I adjusted my rear sight over two clicks. (I'm not sure of what two clicks on this sight are at 25 yards). Then I took Three more shots and hit about half way between the bullseye and the first three rounds on the far right. Then, unfortunately, my "target" fell in the mud and I gave up.. I was already using a makeshift target, as you can see. I decided that it was sighted in close enough for today, then I finished off my last two magazines on frozen milk jugs. I also took some shots with the P94 and the Mosin, (as usual) but didn't take any pictures of those.
I'll do a better accuracy test with the AR-15 soon. But anyhow I am very pleased with the new Quad Rail and the Forward Grip. They sure help you steady your gun when you are standing without a tree or anything to help you hold still.

Great report. I think your new gun is working out real good, Jason. I'm sure that forward grip is a real improvement. Looks like fun.

Thanks Rohn.
I really enjoy shooting the AR.
I'll probably add more to it over time.

Not bad at all for the first time out shooting the AR-15. There are a lot of targets online you can print for free. Just Google Printable Targets.

I had shot it three times before. And I have shot a couple of my friends ARs. So I have no excuse for my inaccuracy. You can print targets off of Google? I'll Google that for sure. Thanks Sid.
