Has anyone else found it strange that we no longer protect our embassies? I don't know what you guys think, but in my honest opinion we are doing exactly what our enemy wants. I would think if I knew a consulate was about to be attacked I would remove the ambassador to a safe location, and send some troops there. But we don't do that anymore. Aren't we on the run now then? How do you hunt an animal? You go to where you know they will be, and you wait. Same principal with terrorists. But our government won't deal with our enemy. I just think if we don't take care of the terrorists now, then we will never be safe. The only way to stop them from hating us (and as a result, killing us) is to kill the radicals of today and keep a strong presence in their countries. The best way to stop them from hating us is to deal with their "problem", and once their "problem" is dead, show them that the US won't bother the innocent and won't interfere with their government as long as they do the same.
