Hey Rohn.
This is an interesting round. It looks like this will catch on. When the .17 HMR came out and people started trying it, it became almost as popular as the 22 magnum.
Lots of small game hunters (like gofer and coyote hunters) are looking for the most powerful, most accurate small game load they can get. I would say they will not be worried about reloading to save money.
But on the other hand, if Winchester can make this ammo affordable to target shoot with, then i'm sure lots of people will wish they could reload it. I have heard lots of people say they wanted to reload 22lr.
Especially with the prices we have now.
In my opinion I wouldn't feel the urge to reload it.

If the cartridge manufactures can't keep up with .22 LR, and 9mm, and .45 auto etc. How can anyone be sure that they will be able to get ammo for this new cartridge. If you can't get ammo for a gun its nothing but a wall hanger. I'd sure rather have empties that I could reload rather than depend on a cartridge company. Also if you reload you can fine tune the loads to your rifle and shooting situation. That's MHO.

True. Very interesting gun. I have always looked at the new ones and always wondered if you could get ammo for them. I believe the problems with the ammo is all artificial. If the government wouldn't try to kill the manufacturers with taxes then we might be able to buy some ammo. I have often thought that ammo manufacturing is a good place in today's market that you can stay afloat, but the price of the equiptment plus taxes is so insane you can't start without a fortune.

I was assuming that things will get back to normal when I wrote that.
They probably won't.......for awhile. Justin

It seemed to get better for a while, then they kind of went back up. The prices are just too high. I don't really want to pay $65 dollars a brick online when I used to be able to get it for $14.
