Here is one trap that is bragging size. This is an old bear trap that I own. I thought you all might enjoy seeing some pictures of it. Here it is with a #1 1/2 coil-spring that I use for coon. It is a bit too big to fit in my trappers basket. So what do you think? Big enough or should it be bigger?

I vote big enough . That's huge Rohn! I bet that is hard to set. And you would definitely NOT want to get clamped when your setting that. Thanks for showing it.

That is very nice. Is there a maker mark on the pan?
Yea, you'd have to be a tough guy to set one of those alone

Matt, Yes there is a makers name on the the pan but I haven't figured out what it is yet. It is rusted a bit and I can't read it.

Yea I have a small blake and lamb that used to be like that. If you want to, Try taking a bit of steel wool and polishing the pan, or pour a little dust on the pan and then wipe it off. The dust should stay in the grooves of the letters and make it easy to read.
